A full white screen is incredibly versatile. It transforms your monitor, tablet, or smartphone into a bright, even light source. Many professionals use a blank white screen as a makeshift light box for tracing, viewing negatives, or evaluating physical transparencies.
Additionally, a white screen is perfect for video calls. If you find yourself in a dimly lit room during a Zoom or Teams meeting, opening a white screen on a secondary monitor (or half your screen) acts as a softbox, illuminating your face beautifully without the need for expensive ring lights.
A white screen can be used as a reading light, a tracing light box, for finding dead pixels on a monitor, as a softbox for video calls, or to clean your screen since it highlights dirt and smudges.
Just click the 'Fullscreen' icon in the control bar or press 'F' on your keyboard. Your browser will hide the UI and display a pure white background.
Staring directly at a very bright white screen in a dark room can cause eye strain. We recommend adjusting your monitor's brightness or using our built-in brightness slider to find a comfortable level.
